Susanna Mosli, RDH became a Self-Initiated Registered Mobile Dental Hygienist in 2009 and started offering her mobile dental hygiene services in the community when she created and launched Sparkling Smiles. Susanna has had the pleasure and opportunity to work in a number of private, reputable practices to gain experience in the dental field.

Over the past few years she has been in demand by her employers and clients because of her caring nature, gentle touch, knowledge, skill and professional attitude. Susanna continually attends local and nation-wide dental conferences and continuing education courses to keep her education as current as possible. She is also registered as a Self-Initiated Registered Dental Hygienist. Susanna’s overall goal is to bring education, happiness, confidence, prevention and beautiful smiles to all of her clients.

Our Client Protection & Standard of Care
At Sparkling Smiles, we are dedicated and determined to achieve the highest level of client protection and infection control. Our sterilization protocols and procedures are performed to the highest standards set by any dental office. We follow the CDHO Dental Hygiene Standards of Practice, as well as their regulations, codes of ethic and guidelines.

To avoid allergic reactions, all of our gloves are non-latex. We also ensure that all of our equipment goes through the proper sterilization and disinfection procedures. Our instruments are kept in sealed packages and stored until use. The majority of our supplies are single-use, disposable items.

Fees and Insurance Services
Our fees are based on the Suggested Fee Guide for Dental Hygienists that is created and set out by the Ontario Dental Hygiene Association (ODHA). They are generally more affordable than dentist fees. Most dental insurance companies accept billing from independent dental hygienists. We are more than happy to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your insurance coverage and in completing any insurance forms that you may need to receive reimbursement.

Our services are mobile, we can travel to private homes, senior residences, businesses or corporations, and public or private centres. We also offer our services in our home based operatory, perfect for persons who do not want to visit a dental office.

Evening and weekend appointments are available. Our Mobile Dental Hygiene Services are available in Barrie and surrounding areas.
